Who are the coaches?
About Brian Contreras (BC):
BC is a local born and raised here in Colorado Springs. He is currently the Boys Director of Coaching throughout Pride and has been involved with Pride for 19 years. BC competed for Cheyenne Mountain High School and was a state champion for them, and he competed on one of the best club teams (before Pride existed), which was the Chargers SC and Colorado Rush. After BC’s successful High School career, he competed at the NCAA DI level for Loyola Chicago University, making it to the National Tournament finals. At the same time, BC was the captain of the team. BC then has played professionally at the PASL level for the Denver Dynamite, and he also has played indoor professionally for the Colorado Blizzards. BC has been involved in the Colorado Springs soccer community for over 19 years as a coach and even longer as a player. “They always say, “it takes a village to raise a child”, and I wholeheartedly believe that. The Pride Family has helped shape my daughter through the love and concern shown by the coaches, the game, and the team concept. Thank you Pride family!”
