The Pride of the Rockies tournament is the perfect pre-season competition to prepare your competitive teams for the Fall 2025 season! With an average of 125 teams registering with us for 4 years, this tournament provides diverse competition, a prestigious venue, and a variety of recreational opportunities and attractions to do in beautiful Colorado Springs.

The Pride of the Rockies is hosted on the pristine fields of the United States Air Force Academy. Teams will have the opportunity to kick off the season by evaluating players, playing new teams, and visiting one of the most beautiful cities in the country.

About Pride of the Rockies Classic & Showcase

It is with great excitement that we announce that we will be hosting the Pride Of The Rockies tournament in 2025. We appreciate your support and look forward to a tremendous showcase event in 2025. Please join us August 1-3, 2025 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Pride of the Rockies is a part of the Rocky Mountain State Games – Colorado’s largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities, including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment.

All teams located approximately an hour from the venue should expect to play on Friday night. Games will kick off at 5 PM.

2025 FIELD MAP

All tournament participants and coaches must enter through the US Air Force Academy NORTH GATE.

The North Gate is located off I-25 at North Gate Blvd, Exit 156. 

No dogs are allowed at the Air Force Academy

No use of tobacco products or alcohol products will be permitted on USAFA grounds.

The Academy is located 60 miles south of Denver, and is 10 miles northwest of downtown Colorado Springs. North gate entry point is open from 5:00 am-10:00 pm. The Academy is located between I-25 and the mountains.

Ensure everyone who is eligible, has a DoD ID card. COVID-19 guidelines are subject to change due to federal, state and local situations and currently anyone entering the installation needs to have a DoD ID card if eligible.

How are age group brackets created?
📝 Team Info & Divisions
We are offering the following bracket options for the Pride of the Rockies Classic. Divisions may be adjusted based on final registration numbers to ensure competitive balance and a great tournament experience:
  • All teams will play in their designated age group unless the registrar has notified the team would like to play up an age group in their registration.
  • There may be as many as 5 divisions per age group, varying from Premier (highest division) to Bronze (lowest division).
  • Age group divisions with low registration numbers may be combined.
  • All registration responses will be taken into consideration when bracket flights are created based on the current level of play indicated.

Once the game schedule is posted, it is FINAL. Major concerns that may prevent a team’s participation can be addressed via email.

Registration deadline – July 10, 2025

  • Payment is NOT processed when you register.
  • Teams can pay their own fees online through the following steps:
    • Log into GotSport and click on “Team Management”, then “Registrations”.
    • In “Registrations”, click on the team name next to “Pride of the Rockies Classic 2025”
    • In the registration pop-up, at the top click on “Billing”.
    • In “Billing”, click on “Pay Now” next to “TOTAL BALANCE”.
  • All payments MUST be completed before July 23rd, 2025!
  • Any unpaid fees will be charged to the card on file on July 24th, 2025.

U15-U19 Showcase: $975

  • Acceptances will begin on July 1st, 2025.
  • If your team is traveling for this event, please reach out directly to check the status of your application.
  • We can accommodate early acceptances for traveling teams to help teams plan their trip by accepting teams sooner.

There must be a card on file on the application. 

 

Eligibility

USYSA and CSA Advanced League and Competitive teams. Each team is allowed guest players who must be listed on the “Guest Player” from. Please see rules for the number of guest players allowed.

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games with flight winners (and wild card winners when appropriate) advancing to the playoff rounds. Some flights will not have playoffs and will be determined by points earned during pool play.

Teams are required to participate in all scheduled matches and adhere to tournament Code of Conduct.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Tournament Leadership staff is committed to providing exceptional experiences for our participants. Weather is never in our control, but how we plan, prepare, and react to anything that comes our way is under our control.

We stand united to provide clear communication, best-case-scenario solutions, and do everything in our power to play all games at every event. 

Where To Find Weather-Related Updates

    • Posts Online: Weather updates will be posted online in real-time in 2 locations: 
      • Location 1: The GotSport Schedule Page (Event Alert @ Top of Page)
      • Location 2: The Tournament Website (Event Alert @ Top of Page)
      • These will be updated within 15 minutes from when a delay starts. 
    • Announcements On-Site: Event Staff will make on-site announcements:
      • Facility Speaker System: The Air Force Academy has a speaker system and will make decisions related to weather delays.
      • Announcements will be made in real-time as updates come across.

    • If a delay exceeds 60 minutes, any games in progress will be called final at their time of stoppage if a game has reached halftime or is in the second half.

Weather Refund Policy

  • 80% refund – The event is canceled entirely due to weather or any other external forces.
  • 60% refund – If only 1 game is played of the 3 guaranteed games. 
  • 30% refund – If only 2 games are played of the 3 guaranteed games.

To check in your team, submit roster (if not already submitted) by following instructions below:
Login to your team account. (system.gotsport.com)

Go to Team Management, click on Teams, Click your team name, select Pride of the Rockies, click on Team Registrations and on the far right, select the blue “Rosters” tab and submit “Current Team Roster”.
