Pride is excited to continue our Pre-Academy Training Program for Pride Recreational players born in 2018 and 2019 looking to take the next step in their development. Led by our professional Junior Academy coaches, training sessions introduce players to the expectations, methodology, and technical demands of the competitive environment. Our 8 week program will take players through an age-appropriate and progressive training plan that prioritizes the key player behaviors to allow them to transition to the next level. About the Program
The Pride Pre-Academy is a training program for Pride Recreational players born in 2018 and 2019 interested in additional training geared toward preparing players for the demands of the Junior Academy and Competitive programs. The goal of the Pre-Academy is to develop competitive, confident, technically-sound players through a structured training environment. The development of our players comes through age-specific curriculum which focuses on technical, tactical, physical and psychological training.
Players in the Pre-Academy program must also be on a Pride Recreational team and will practice and play games with their Recreational team.
Coaching Staff
Under the guidance of our Technical Director and our Directors’ of Coaching, the Pre-Academy sessions will be led by coaches with experience coaching in Pride’s Junior Academy and/or Competitive programs. Field sessions will be led by Junior Academy Directors Paul Hogan and Marcus Jordan.
