Pride SC is delighted to partner with the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC to provide a pathway for elite male players, here in Colorado Springs.
The Switchbacks FC II program, starting in Fall 2024, works with Pride to provide further development opportunities for players aged 13-19 – their mission “to identify, develop, and launch pre-professional boys’ soccer careers.”
The Switchbacks technical staff will continue to work with Pride DOCs to identify and guide local talent that is deemed suitable for the program. Players on the Switchbacks FC II roster will train with the Switchbacks coaching staff and play in the USL Academy Cup and USL Academy League in addition to other avenues for competitive action.
Selected Pride competitive teams will continue to train at Weidner Field, home of the Switchbacks, on a regular basis throughout the season, allowing additional development opportunities and furthering the relationship between the Switchbacks and Pride.
